Experience
Senior Vice President, ATREG (March 2009–
Present)
Mr. Silver joined ATREG in
early 2009 and is based in Seattle.
He brings broad
experience in management, real estate and
finance to the ATREG team.
Mr. Silver’s primary focus since
joining the company has been developing new
business opportunities and growing the ATREG
platform.
In addition to his operational
responsibilities for the firm, he has managed
client transactions for Freescale, IDT and
others.
Prior Experience
Prior to
joining ATREG, Mr. Silver
served in a variety of senior management and
advisory roles.
Most recently, Mr. Silver served as
President of Elliott Bay Mortgage, one of the
largest, independent mortgage banking firms in
the region.
Prior to moving to Seattle, Mr. silver
worked in the Investment Banking and Debt
Capital Markets divisions of Morgan Stanley in
the New York headquarters.
While there, Mr. Silver was involved in raising
debt and equity capital for public and private
companies as well as advising clients on mergers
and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Silver
worked in the Investment Banking division
of LaSalle Partners, where he advised on the
acquisition and disposition of over $500 million
of commercial real estate.
Other Experience
Mr. Silver serves as Chairman and President of
the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Northwest.
The Enterprise Forum is a non-profit
affiliate of MIT that serves to educate and
develop entrepreneurship around the world.
